Michael Shelton, D.V.M.
Dr. Shelton graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He did his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. He practiced medicine at Parker Animal & Bird Clinic in Plano for ten years before opening his own practice. He lives near Blue Ridge and has a small farm full of chickens, cows, and horses. He shares his home with his dog, Pepper, and his cat, Velcro.
Dr. Shelton lives in Blue Ridge with his wife, Chris, and their four children, Kian, Kobe, Mitchel & Callie. In his spare time, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his wife and kids.
Elizabeth R.V.T.
Elizabeth, or as everyone calls her, Liz has worked with Dr. Shelton since June of 1997. She lives in Farmersville with her husband Larry. They have two wonderful children, dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. Jordan and Riley, her children, help out with the farm as much as they can. Liz is also a Creative Memories representative and loves to spend her extra time scrap booking and helping others learn the art.
Bobbie
Bobbie was the opening receptionist here at the hospital. She joined Dr. Shelton when he opened up in June of 2007. She lives in Farmersville with her husband Shawn. They have two sons Damion and Andrew. They also welcomed their daughter, Jadynn to the family in December of 2007.
The family has a mixed breed pup named Harley. Bobbie enjoys spending her spare time with her family doing outdoor activities.
Melissa
Melissa is one of our wonderful receptionists. She has worked with Dr. Shelton since early 2002. She lives in Frisco with her son Seth, her 2 dogs, cats, and cockatiel. Melissa is a Yorkshire Terrier fanatic. Two of her furry babies are yorkies. She also has shared custody of a very special yorkie boy named Grawpy. He lives with his grandma in Plano. Grawpy was hand-raised from the time he was 6 days old by Elizabeth, our technician.
Melissa loves to spend her extra time with family and friends. She is also a devoted Dallas Stars fan. Go Stars!!!
Matt
Matt joined our family in August of 2009. Matt has been a loving & caring technician since 2005. He lives in Plano with this wife Jenn, 2 daughters (Kyndall and Madilynn) and stepson (Timmy). The family has two cats, Bud & Balla.
In his spare time, Matt loves caring for his salt-water fish tank and watching Sunday Night Football. He is also quite into his Fantasy Football Team.
Jennifer
Jenn became a part of our family in February 2010. She has been working as a technician and receptionist in the Veterinary field since 2002.
She lives in Plano with her husband Matt and their children, Timmy, Madilynn, and Kyndall. Jenn enjoys watching sports, fishing, and camping with her family. Caring for animals is her passion.
Buster
Buster is our house cat. He was found, as a small kitten, in Bobbie's barn in July of 2007. He soon won the hearts of the staff and joined the practice as the official greeter. Buster is very loving and has no fear. He will walk up to the largest of dogs, or the angriest of cats. He has a fascination for purses. He will crawl right in and lay down. He is quite the character.
